| This issue of the Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics contains abstracts from the Young Investigators’ Symposium which were presented at the American College of Medical Physics Annual Meeting, May 3 – 6, 2008. Each year at the annual meeting, the ACMP conducts a young investigators’ competition which encourages graduate students, residents, postdoctoral fellows in the medical physics field, and individuals who have recently finished such programs to submit abstracts for review. The abstracts are scored by a team of reviewers, and those with the highest score are presented in a special symposium. The selection published here represents the finest abstracts submitted to the competition by the future practitioners of medical physics. |
